Ahead of Bigg Boss 10 season start, take a fresh look at the past. Since its first season in 2006, reality show Bigg Boss had always been a hit on Television, with people staying curious about what the show has kept in store for its next update. The TV show, mostly hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, had always been grabbing viewers for its ugly catfights and spicy controversies. From Dolly Bindra, Rakhi Sawant, Kamal R Khan, Manoj Tiwari to Iman Siddique, Rahul Mahajan, Shweta Tiwari and many others, all its participants had managed to gain enough TRP for the controversial best. And as the grand opening of the 10th season of Big Boss is set to be premiered on October 16 at 9 pm on the Colors channel, here is a look at the top controversial moments in the show, till date:
1) Dolly Bindra’s ‘baap pe mat jana’ brawl with Manoj Tiwari (Season 4):
The season 4 of Bigg Boss will be well remembered as it spiced up with a silly fight between Dolly Bindra and Bhojpuri superstar, Manoj Tiwari, over a few eggs in the house’s kitchen. Especially, the epic line ‘baap pe mat jaana’ by Dolly Bindra made the catfight one of the most talked about fights in the television reality show.
2) KRK’s ‘bottle-attack’ at Rohit Verma (Season 3):
The verbal spat turned into a physical fight between Kamal Rashid Khan and designer Rohit Verma was a spicy treat for the viewers in the third season of the show. KRK was thrown out of the show after he hurled a bottle at Rohit, which accidentally hit Shamita Shetty. Although KRK returned to the show, as a completely ‘changed’ man and Shamita quitted the show citing her sister Shilpa Shetty’s wedding.
3) Rakhi Shawant and Kahmira Shetty’s TRP stunt (Season 1):
In the very first season of Bigg Boss, Rakhi Sawant and equally catty Kashmira Shetty spiced up the show with a lot of TRP seeking fights among the two. The controversial celebs, in a competition to add glamour to the show, often got into fights which resulted at a time when almost the whole house was against Rakhi.
4) Rishabh Sinha’s daily challenges with Prince Narula (Season 9):
Season 9 of Bigg Boss gained pace after the wild card entry of actor Rishabh Sinha. The heated word exchanges between Rishabh and Roadies winner Prince Narula, especially after the actor made TV actress Kishwar Merchant crawl like a dog, let the show’s TRP stay on a constant high.
5) Pooja Mishra’s fight with almost all housemates (Season 5)
Pooja Mishra, undoubtedly, stayed as the key controversy of the show’s fifth season. Not only that the actress had fought with almost all the contestants of the show, but her fight with Siddharth Bhardwaj, even turned uglier when she pushed him aggressively and also slammed the door on the Splitsvilla winner.
6) Sara Khan’s wedding with Ali Merchant (Season 4):
Sara Khan’s made-up wedding with her then boyfriend Ali Merchant marks as one of the biggest drama the show has witnessed till date. Many believe the wedding was a mere TRP stunt by the couple who parted couple of years later.
7) Weird Iman Siddique (Season 6):
Iman Siddique still stays as one of the most notorious and weird participant of the show. Not only his abuses at housemate Urvashi Dholakia on her personal life and parenting skills left the actress in tears, but the weirdo also scared Aashka Goradia and many others, being dressed as a cat roaming around the house. The weirdest claim by Iman was that the show host Salman Khan owes him money.
8) Dolly Bindra-Shweta Tiwari fight (Season 4)
Being an over-loud rowdy contestant Dolly Bindra had always been the key to controversies within the Big Boss house. Leaving apart heated verbal wars, her actual physical fight with Shweta Tiwari left the television actor with bruises on her arms.
9) Payal Rohatgi, Rahul Mahajan and Monica Bedi love triangle (Season 2):
The love triangle between Payal Rohatgi, Rahul Mahajan and Monica Bedi added a major spice to the show in the season 9. Later Payel allegedly made claims that she and Rahul were in a relationship during the show. Rahul Mahajan also spiced up the show after he tried to escape the Bigg Boss walls citing lack of enough food.
