Rapper Big Sean said he feared that he would mess up his homecoming gig, after fumbling over his lyrics, while rehearsing with his childhood idols Eminem And Royce Da 5’9.
The “My last” hitmaker headlined his own show and invited a number of special guests to join him onstage, reported Contact Music.
Eminem, made a guest appearance alongside Royce to close the gig and Big Sean admits he was so nervous about the last big surprise, he couldn’t remember the words to his verse on “Detroit vs. Everybody” while they rehearsed.
“I kept fumbling because it was such a moment for me.I had so many things in my head, I couldn’t remember my verse. I couldn’t think of the words,” he said.
He said he felt honoured to have hip-hop icon Eminem perform at his concert.
“Eminem was there, under the stage, waiting to pop out from underground. I’m just sitting there thinking, ‘Wow, I’m onstage with Royce da 5’9, and Eminem is about to pop up.’ It was a major moment for me. But I executed it in the show perfectly, and that’s what counts,” he said.
