Vishnuraj Menon, from Bengaluru was announced Peter England Mr India, 2016 as India’s most stylish man for the leading male beauty pageant, held at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai. He was felicitated by Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan. Apart from him, the other winners in various categories were also felicitated by Hrithik. Viren Barman from Delhi and Altamash Faraz also from Delhi were announced as first and second runners-up respectively. There were 16 shortlisted finalists from across the country making it very tough for the judges to decide whom to keep and whom to reject.

There were other various sub-titles like Peter England Mr Style Icon, Mr Healthy Hair, Mr Active, Mr Photogenic, Mr Perfect Body, Mr Personality, Mr Popular, Mr Talented, Best Actor and Top Model. The Peter England Mr Style icon was won by Priyadarshani Chatterjee.

The Peter England Mr India 2016 event received an overwhelming response from over 10,000 participants. This year the Mr India pageant comprised 4-city auditions spread across 4 zones of the country, that finally ended in a gala-final round of auditions, giving wings to larger-than-life aspiration of millions of young men who have set forth to redefine their fates. Various renowned personalities from Bollywood and fashion fraternity attended the finale.

The contestants with their get ups warmed the ramp floor as they walked in the latest collection of menswear brand Peter England. They showcased four different looks, namely – formals with tuxedo, genius shirt, grandfather hand me down denims & Indies. Show Director Prasad Bidapa, Fashion Director Nivedita Saboo, India’s leading fashion photographer Amit Khanna and Celebrity Fitness Trainer Abbas Ali, who mentored the contestants in their journey to the coveted title, all were present in the evening. The grand finale featured celebrities like Kirti Kulhari, Sana Khan, Ankita Shorey, Adah Sharma and Freddy Daruwalla.
