Bareilly Ki Barfi box office collection Week 2: Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao, starer Bareilly Ki Barfi has managed to find an audience for itself in the second week of its release as well. The film that hit the silver screen last Friday, August 18, had a slow start. But eventually it witnessed some growth and logged some decent business in its opening weekend. The film has bagged a total of Rs 25.42 cr in the second week. Movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the romantic comedy film on his Twitter account. According to him, the film did a business of Rs 1.15 cr on Friday, Rs 1.75 cr on Saturday, Rs 2.30 cr on Sunday, Rs 75 lakh Monday and on Tuesday the film collected Rs 75 lakh in Week 2.
The film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and is a small town love triangle story, which is written by Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari. The movie also marks the debut of Juno Chopra as a producer. Juno, the grandson of filmmaker B R Chopra. The film has been set in the small-town of Bareilly, Bitti is a free-spirited young girl who lives life on her own terms and refuses to be pressured into getting married. Her life takes a shift when she meets Chirag Dubey and Pritam Vidrohi.
The film has been receiving immense love from the audience. The success of the Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon starrer proves that the audience prefer content driven films than star vehicles.
