The much-anticipated trailer of Bahubali 2 was out on Thursday afternoon and took the internet by storm. The buzz around this movie is very strong due to the epic ending of the first part and the director SS Rajamouli said yesterday that he is planning to show the first part again a week before the second edition hits theatres on April 28. “We are planning to release part one maybe one or two weeks before the release of part two in southern states so people can get back into the narrative,” Rajamouli said at the trailer launch of the Hindi version of ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’.
Even the actors of the film are delighted by the response that trailer got. “The fans are happy with it. It’s overwhelming to be a part of the film,” Rana said. Even though the Tamil trailer was leaked few hours before the official release, it didn’t reduce the craze among people. “This particular thing is neither due to leakage or piracy, it is due to some technical glitch on Facebook. The video which was to be on private mode went on public mode. But fans are happy that we came early. All is well that ends well,” Rajamouli said.
It’s not just the Indian fans that are going mad about the trailer but even the international ones. People compared Bahubali’s new trailer to James Cameron’s cinema who is the man behind many epic films like Titanic and Avatar. Here are the top YouTube reactions:
The first part of this franchise, ‘Bahubali: The Beginning’ earned Rs. 650 crore at the box office becoming one of the biggest commercial hits in India. Karan Johar bought the rights for the Hindi version of the film and joked about the amount of money he made with it by saying, “The presenters make money, the one who put their hard-work, blood, sweat and tears don’t make money always. But the equity the film has made is beyond monetary.
