While SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is trashing all box-office records that have ever been created in Indian filmdom, it has at the same time increased the popularity of lead actors manifold. Both Prabhas and Rana Dagubbatti have become fan favourites for their brilliant portrayal of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bhallaldeva’ respectively. However, it is the former who has emerged as the new favourite of big brands and has been flooded with new offers as brands are ready to splash their cash to get Prabhas’ services, said an India TV report.

“Yes, Prabhas has been approached by several brands. Although he hasn’t agreed to any of them as of now, he has declined a whopping 18 crore worth of brand endorsement,” Prabhas’ spokesperson was quoted as saying in the report. It further added that the actor is currently focused on his upcoming film Saaho and will not take some endorsements that are coming his way purely because of money. “But, he certainly wants to concentrate on his upcoming trilingual film, Saaho, shooting for which begins in July. He is also getting a few Bollywood offers from top directors and production houses and he’s reading the scripts,” the source was quoted saying.
“Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” became the first Indian film to cross Rs 1,000 crore milestone internationally reported PTI on May 7 after which Prabhas took to Facebook and said that he cannot thank director SS Rajamouli enough for giving him the once-in-a-lifetime character of Baahubali. “To all my fans, a big hug to each one of you for all the love that you all have showered on me. I have tried my best to go through a lot of the efforts that you all have put to express your affection for me from different parts of India and even overseas. I am truly overwhelmed with everything. The journey of ‘Baahubali’ has been a long one but among the few things that I will take away from this, is all of you. Lots of love back to you all,” wrote Prabhas.
