Baahubali 2: The Conclusion collections: SS Rajamouli’s film has created history to become the first Indian film to collect Rs 100 crore in North America. The fantasy drama has captivated many and that too across the globe with its entrancing theme. Movie critic and analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: “The unthinkable has happened. Baahubali 2 is the first Indian film to cross Rs 100 crore in North America on Saturday. All records shattered”.
The box office collections of the film in India are also soaring high. The collections rose up to Rs 80 crore in the second weekend from Rs 128 crore in the first. Adarsh tweeted: “A mere 36.91% decline in Weekend 2… Outstanding! On Friday it was Rs 19.75 crore, on Saturday, Rs 26.50 crore, Sunday 34.50 crore. Therefore, Total: Rs 327.75 crore.”
Adarsh said in a tweet that the Baahubali 2 wave remains “super strong”. The film has taken its 10-day total to Rs 327.75 crore. He tweeted: “The film is speeding towards Rs 400 crore,” he tweeted.
Among the initial records that the film inked was regardig the highest single day collections. According to the figures given by Adarsh, the film went on to earn Rs 121 crore on the first day itself. Bahubali: The Beginning too, was no less behind as its first day collection was over Rs 50 crore on day 1.
On Sunday, Bollywood actor, Rishi Kapoor tweeted on the same matter, saying, “BAHU”t”BALI”yaan chadengi filmon ki to match this film’s triumph and business. An Indian Celebration. Glad am part of this business of films.”
