Baahubali 2: The Conclusion collection: S. S. Rajamouli’s super-duper hit South Indian film featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah and others has continued on its mind-boggling record-breaking spree. Baahubali 2 collection has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark on Day 4 across theatres that screened the movie in Hindi (only in India). Hindi movie critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to reveal these astounding numbers. This is what he had to say in his post: “#Baahubali2 is the new yardstick… Crossed Rs 50 cr: Day 2; Crossed Rs 100 cr: Day 3; Crossed Rs 150 cr: Day 4. Nett biz… HINDI… India biz.” Considering that the 4th day generally leads to a massive fall in business, but looks like Baahubali 2 has managed to fight that particular cinema trend off too with the help of people who went to the theatres on Monday. Th earnings are massive as the earliest collection sum of the Hindi version of the movie on Monday is Rs 35 cr – the final tally is still awaited.
Check out the mammoth numbers as Baahubali 2 skyrockets to the No. 1 position in Indian cinema and also ensures that it stays there – likely for years. The day one collection of the film was Rs 41 crore in Hindi (+ 80 crores in Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam). On day 2, the movie crossed the Rs 50 crore milestone as far as its earning from the Hindi screening in India was concerned. Director Karan Johar, who owns the Hindi rights of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, also took to Twitter and wrote, “Biggest Blockbuster ever!!!!! 128 (Hindi), 175(Telugu Tamil Malayalam )….#Baahubalistorm @ssrajamouli …303 crores in 3 days!!!!!”
Baahubali 2 has been breaking all sorts of records ever since its worldwide release on April 28. Baahubali 2 even got listed on number 3 in the US Box Office ranking behind Vin Diesel’s The Fate of the Furious and Salma Hayek’s latin super hit with its opening weekend take. As far as breaking Box Office collections records is concerned, it has been trashing the ones set by movies of Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
