In his next Hollywood flick ‘Army of One’, actor Nicolas Cage plays handyman Gary Faulkner , who has firm bilief that God has sent him from Colorado to Pakistan to capture Osama Bin Laden.
In the movie, Cage’s character Gary Faulkner is an unemployed handyman, and modern day Don Quixote who gets a message from God telling him to capture Osama Bin Laden.
Armed with only a single sword, Gary reaches Pakistan to for his mission. While on his pursuit, Gary encounters old friends back home in Colorado, the new friends he makes in Pakistan, enemies he makes and even God and Osama themselves.
Cage looks to revel in the role of the insane, patriotic flag-bearer, who can be seen stumbling all the way to Pakistan numerous times over.
The movie is a satirical account of America’s obsession to hunt down the ex-al-Qaeda chief, though whether it will be accepted with the modern-day audiences remains to be seen.
The film has been directed by Larry Charles, while the writers of Kevin Costner sports drama Draft Day have written the script script.
‘Army of One’ is all set for a Digital HD release from November 4 and on DVD, Blu-Ray, and On Demand streaming services from November 15 this year.
Co-stars of cage in the movie include Wendi McLendon-Covey, Rainn Wilson, Russell Brand, Ken Marino, Denis O’Hare, Paul Scheer and Adrian Martinez.
