Apple iTunes launches ‘Freedom Series to celebrate Independence day!

Apple iTunes has come up with an exclusive "Freedom Series" that features Bollywood stars like Farah Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Salim-Sulaiman showcasing their hand-picked film and music collection on iTunes

With India’s 70th Independence Day approaching, Apple iTunes has come up with an exclusive “Freedom Series”  that features Bollywood stars like Farah Khan, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Salim-Sulaiman showcasing their hand-picked film and music collection on iTunes.

With an option to purchase music and buy or rent movies, Apple’s iTunes store was extended in India from 2012. The store predominatly features Bollywood numbers. The series also offers a small description to each collection. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt states the movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ as life changing and describes Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ as a definition of how dreams should be.

Other celebrities also shared their Independence Day favourites on iTunes. The new Freedom Series banner at the top of iTunes curates collections from a set of celebrities on the ocassion of Independence Day. iTunes users can listen to the selections and download the recommended music from the store.
