Actress Annie Potts has been roped in to do a cameo in the new “Ghostbusters” film, which also stars Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.
62-year-old Potts, who played the deadpan receptionist Janine Melnitz in the original 1984 movie and its sequel in 1989, is playing a hotel receptionist in the upcoming movie, according to Digital Spy.
Melnitz’s equivalent character will be played in the new adaptation by Chris Hemsworth, who takes on the role of Kevin.
Potts follows in the footsteps of fellow star Ernie Hudson, who was seen shooting scenes on the reboot on Saturday.
The Paul Feig-directed film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the “Ghostbusters”.
“Ghostbusters” will open in cinemas on July 15, 2016.
