Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister and senior BJP Leader Dharmendra Pradhan today said that the people of Uttarakhand has made up their mind for a political change. Addressing a rally in Dehradun, he said that that former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee played an important part in creating the state, while PM Narendra Modi will improve it. Dharmendra Pradhan is the party in- charge for the state.
Earlier in the day, PM Narendra Modi had addressed an election rally at Rudrapur where he slammed the Opposition for asking evidence regarding the surgical strikes carried out along the Line of Control (LOC) previous year. Pointing towards his opposition he told that people who take least interest in development and only want to save their seats should be given a suitable reply.

In the election rally which took place in Uttarakhand he further pledged to eradicate corruption and said his aim is not to harass the poor or the honest but to bring justice to the common man by punishing the corrupt.
Talking about the Char Dham Yatra he told that good roads leading to these religious shrine will bring in employment to the youth and will give a boost to employment of the state.
He praised Bharatiya Janata Party and stated that its main aim is to provide water to the farmers, good education and medicine to children and old people and also provide employment to the youth of Uttarakhand.
Uttarakhand has its assembly elections on February 15 which will be held in a single phase.
