Campaigning on the forthcoming elections, Akhilesh Yadav addressed an election rally at Sitapur’s Sidhauli. Addressing the crowd earlier in the day CM Akhilesh Yadav said that this election is important to differentiate which party has worked in favour of people. He added that people have faith in the party and know the good work that has been done by the Samajwadi Party. Saying this he cited the example of free ambulance service and the availability of police help which is just a phone call away. Praising his party further he included in his list education which is being provided by the party to empower girls.
In his speech in Sidhauli Akhilesh Yadav said that politics in villages is based on quota and the pension issue, therefore he assured that in coming days the quota system will be improved to an extent every poor person will be entitled to food and help under it. Adding to his promises he also said that every poor woman of the family will be covered under Samajwadi Pension and 1 crore people will be entitled to 1000 rupees per month and various other pension provisions by Samajwadi Party in the coming days.

The alliance between Congress and Samajwadi party has recently faced backlash from people. Clearing all apprehensions CM Akhilesh Yadav said people that this alliance will only improve the condition of the party. In his speech he said that with the help of Congress party the ‘Cycle’ will only work faster.
UP elections, the voting for which starts from February 11, will be held in 7 phases. Congress will be contesting in 105 seats and the Samajwadi Party will be contesting in 298 seats out of the 403 assembly seats.
