Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed a rally in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh in support of Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. In her speech she slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attacking Rahul. With Sonia Gandhi missing from the scene, Priyanka Gandhi did her part in defending brother Rahul. She said, “PM Modi claimed that Uttar Pradesh has adopted him, but does UP need to adopt an outsider for development?”, she further added that the youngsters in UP are capable enough to develop the state and do not need an outsider’s support. Towards the end of her speech, she urged people to identify and choose the genuine leader who wants to work for them. She said, “Jo aapke liye kaam karna chahta hai usse pehchaniye.” Priyanka Gandhi’s speech made it quite evident that this time she is here to stay in politics and even brother Rahul Gandhi needed the help of elder sister to take on Narendra Modi which he could not do on his own.
