Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday during his campaign rally in Aligarh ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017 came up with a new acronym of ‘Vikas’ which means- V for ‘vidyut’, K for ‘kanoon vyawastha’ and S for ‘sadak’. This is not the first time when PM Modi has redefined a word. On Saturday, during his campaign rally in Meerut he gave a new meaning to the word SCAM which stands for (S)Samajwadi, (C)Congress, (A)Akhilesh, (M)Mayawati.

Along with inventing a new acronym, PM Narendra Modi also launched a new attack on the opposition while addressing the rally in Aligarh. He said, “Parties are angry with me as I am tightening screws on wrong doors.” He added, “In a day 7650 crimes, 24 rapes, 21 rape attempts, 13 murders, 33 kidnappings, 19 riots and 136 thefts happen in Uttar Pradesh. UP doesn’t need ‘SCAM’, but needs the lotus.” Ahead of the first phase of elections in Uttar Pradesh that are scheduled to take place on February 11, PM hit out at the ruling Samajwadi Party and said, “Past governments in UP worked in such a manner that it led to closure of famous Aligarh lock industry.”
