A record-breaking crowd poured in to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an election rally in Mirzapur, where the Prime Minister is spearheading Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) fate in Poorvanchal (Eastern part of Uttar Pradesh). There was huge anticipation among the crowd to listen to the Prime Minister. The entire ground was saffronised and turned picturesque. Seemingly happy with the crowd, PM Narendra Modi expressed his ecstasy and delight by saying that this crowd has broken all the records! He expressed his gratitude to the people of Mirzapur for turning out in large number.
Famous for his witty remarks, the Prime Minister started his speech in Bhojpuri thereby enthralling the crowd. He greeted the public by saying “Maai ke sevakon ko Pradhan sevak ka pranam” (The Prime Servant bows before the disciples of Goddess Vindhyachal). Addressing the crowd, he said that the Uttar Pradesh elections are being held to free the state from Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Congress.

PM Narendra Modi directly interacted with the crowd in his usual humble composure. Taking a jibe at former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Modi said, Yadav started the construction of Bhatoli bridge 13 years ago, which is yet to be completed!
Modi said that the completion of bridge would have been made possible in only 13 months had that been made in Saifai. He also accused BSP supremo Mayawati for not crediting Mirzapur’s stones while mentioning Rajasthan, in the sculpture works.
Prime Minister Modi also said that the people of Uttar Pradesh have laid down wires, which will give give electric shocks to SP, BSP and Congress on March 11. He also said that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has already got electric shocks during his “Khat sabha” on September 14. After this, he was directed to stay away from shocks by Gulam Nabi Azad.
