Election Filmy Hai! These comments from Modi, Akhilesh, Mayawati will remind you of movie dialogues

In Raebareli, Akhilesh Yadav retorted, "You revere Ganga maiyya (river Ganga). Why don't you swear on the Ganga and tell us...is the Samajwadi Party government giving 24-hour electricity in Varanasi or not?"

Campaigning for Uttar Pradesh elections is in full swing, and top leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, and BSP supremo Mayawati are making interesting comments in each of their speeches. While Modi is known for his oratory skills and rhetoric, Akhilesh and Mayawati are giving him tough competition in the game. The comments made by Modi, and their rebuttal, is no less-than movie dialogues. Here are the most striking comments made by political leaders:

1) Modi’s Behenji Sampatti Party

Taking a swipe at Mayawati and her party candidates’ strong financial backings, Prime Minister Narendra Modi re-termed BSP to “Behenji Sampatti Party”.   The ‘Bahujan’ of  BSP is now limited to Behenji only. BSP is now Behenji Sampatti Party,” PM said at a rally in Orai.

2) Akhilesh’ Ganga Ki Kasam

In Raebareli, Akhilesh Yadav retorted, “You revere Ganga maiyya (river Ganga). Why don’t you swear on the Ganga and tell us…is the Samajwadi Party government giving 24-hour electricity in Varanasi or not?”

3) Mayawati’s Modi acronym.

Well, Mayawati was in no mood to take PM’s comments lightly. The BSP chief said that PM does not know that BSP is a movement first and then a political party. “The prime minister has compelled me to define Narendra Damodardas Modi as ‘Mr Negative Dalit Man’”.  “Narendra stands for ‘negative’, Damodardas means ‘dalit’ and Modi is ‘man’,” she said, adding, “I have given the definition of the prime minister taking into consideration his work and behaviour,” she said.

4) Modi’s Scam jibe:

Taking a dig at Samajwadi Party, Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party together, Modi used an unique acronym, this time for ‘SCAM’. He said that S stands for Samajwadi, C for Congress, A for Akhilesh and M for Mayawati, drawing huge response from the crowd.

5) Akhilesh’s rebuttal on Scam:

Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a hard-hitting jibe at opposition parties with his SCAM analog, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minster and SP chief Akhilesh has retaliated to what he said in a similar manner. Addressing an election rally in Auraiya district in UP, the CM said, “Desh ko SCAM se bachana hai, A aur M se jinke naam aate hain unse bachana hai.”  The next day, Akhilesh further refined the term, and said: “SCAM stands from Save Country from Amit Shah from Modi.”
