UGC NET 2017: Make changes in application from tomorrow; check cbsenet.nic.in for details

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has on Monday issued notification to process the corrections in examination forms for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has on Monday issued notification to process the corrections in examination forms for the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017. CBSE, which is the conducting body for the test, will start the facility for aspirants from tomorrow, reported Indian Express. Candidates can log on to the official CBSE website – cbsenet.nic.in and make the desired changes, if required, in their application filed earlier. The option to correct the details on your application forms is available till September 25. The UGC NET 2017 examination is scheduled to take place on November 5, Sunday.

According to the notification, candidates who have already paid the fee can log on to the official CBSE NET portal and by accessing the login page, make the required changes. In order to make any changes in the application form, candidates will have to verify their details on the website.

Here is a step by step procedure to make corrections in your UGC NET 2017 application forms:

Step 1: Log on to the official CBSE website – cbsenet.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage you can find the “Login for Correction” button (at the bottom of the page)

Step 3: After clicking, you will be directed to a new page. Follow the steps as given and make the corrections.

Step 4: After making the desired changes make sure to recheck it as this is the last option to make changes.

Step 5: Take print out of the page once changes and payments are been made.

CBSE organises the UGC NET test every year on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The NET examination has three papers which consist of only objective type questions and will be held in two different sessions.
