QS world university rankings: Top Indian varsities like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore have made their way into the world's top 200 institutions that produce the most number of 'employable graduates,' according to the latest edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018.

QS world university rankings: Top Indian varsities like Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, IIT Bombay and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore have made their way into the world’s top 200 institutions that produce the most number of ’employable graduates,’ according to the latest edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2018. The ranking was released on Monday night with top universities from all around the globe, while IIT Delhi, Bombay and IISc are among the top 200, they are nowhere near the top universities globally. For the sixth time, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is leading the ranking that includes more than 950 of the world’s best universities. According to the official website, “The top four universities are all based in the US, with Stanford, Harvard and the California Institute of Technology all following hot on MIT’s heels.”

While Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been ranked number one, Stanford University is at number two followed by Harvard University at number 3 and California Institute of Technology (Caltech) at number 4. While several Universities have been given a five-star rating in the list, there are no stars adjacent to the names of the Indian varsities.

Rank 190- Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore

Rank 264- Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM)

Rank 293- Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK)

Rank 308- Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP)

Rank 431-440- Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR)

Rank 481-490- University of Delhi

Rank 501-550- Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG)

Rank 601-650- Jadavpur University
