NEET 2017 UG seat allotment: The results for the first allotment of seats for the candidates seeking admission to medical courses will be released by July 15. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Tuesday announced that is the last date to fill choices and lock them was yesterday by 11:59 pm. Candidates seeking admission to medical courses through the all India quota, filled in their choices by 11:59 pm yesterday itself, as reported by Indian Express. Now students will have to wait till Saturday for the first list of the seat allotment to come out.

The seat will be allotted to the candidates on July 13 and 14. While the reporting to colleges will start from July 16 and will carry on till July 22, 5 pm. Round two of the counseling process will begin with choice locking from August first and will be completed by August 16 after which vacant seats will be transferred to state quota.

Here’s how you can check the NEET UG 2017 first allotment results that will come by July 15:

Step 1: Go to the official website, mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on relevant link
Step 3: Enter all the required details such as registration number and password
Step 4: Click to submit, first allotment results will appear
Step 5: Download and take print out of the same for future reference

This year National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) was qualified by 6,11,539 candidates, which was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Among those who qualified, there were 2,66,221 male and 3,45,313 female candidates.
