Maharashtra Board SSC 10th Result 2017: This exam was held by about 4,728 centres and in a historic step, for the first time, a triple disability candidate took the test. Twenty-one-year-old Saurabh Chougule who hails from Mumbai took the exam – he is deaf, mute and blind. Last year, a total of 17,27,496 students had taken the exam. This year’s exam was also in the news as 186 answer sheets were stolen from an assessment centre in Dahisar in April. MSBSHSE has finally decided to mark the missing answer sheets. “The average mark mechanism is as per the board’s policy for damaged or missing papers. The process for calculating the average marks has started,” said Dattatreya Jagtap, the chairman, Mumbai division, MSBSHSE, according to Indian Express. Students can log onto the official website to check their results, but due to a surge in traffic, they may find it difficult to check. However, students are advised to be very patient. It is recommended that they check after a gap of 10 to 15 minutes in case they don’t get access immediately. They should also ensure they key on their details carefully. Rest assured everybody will get to see their mark sheets.
