KEA CET 2017: Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2017) second round allotment result was announced by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Pharma-D and ISM & H (Ayush) courses at kea.kar.nic.in. The candidates need to visit the official website of KEA to check the results. Earlier, on June 26, KEA had announced the first round CET result. The date for students to chose the courses, make payment, downloading of admission slip, and reporting to the allotted colleges was extended to July 7. It had also revised the second round schedule.

Based on the KEA allotment results, the students have to confirm their choices by July 20 and are required to report to the allotted colleges on July 21 by 5.30 pm. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test was conducted by KEA on May 2. It is important to note that the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will allot the seats online on the basis of merit and on the priority of options obtained from the candidates. The candidates will need to enter the options of their choice at the KEA website. The admission to Government seats will be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006.

Steps to check KEA CET 2017 Second Allotment Result:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority at kea.kar.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the desired link

Step 3: A pdf containing the allotment result will open on the screen

Step 4: Check the PDF and fill in your choices accordingly.

Meanwhile, on July 13, the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) released Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) supplementary exam result for class 10th students at kseeb.kar.nic.in. According to reports, the Board was likely to declare the results today.  Students who appeared for the examination can check their results at the official website of the Karnataka Board. The crucial supplementary examination was conducted by the state board in the month of June for candidates who could not clear the SSLC 2017 exam. The results of SSLC 2017 exam were released on May 12 this year. A formal notification from the board regarding the release date for the supplementary results is still awaited on the official website.
