JEE Advanced Result 2017: The wait is finally over. After the display of the answer keys for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), the result announced online on Sunday at 10 am. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check their result on the official website of Jee (Advanced): jeeadv.ac.in and www.jeeadv.nic.in. The exam is formerly known as Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE), which is conducted every year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to the IITs. This year the exam was conducted on May 21, in which more than 1.7 lakh student appeared to compete for more than 11,000 seats at 23 IITs across the country, says a Times of India report. Its answer key was released on June 4. Though the budding engineers may have already calculated their marks from the keys, the results, declared on the day, have their ranks gained in the exam. Candidates who cleared the JEE advanced Cut off will get admission as per rules.

JEE advanced topper 2017: After IIT Madras declared IIT JEE advanced result 2017, Sarvesh Mehtani from Panchkula, Chandigarh emerged as the All India topper. Sarvesh had written the exam from IIT Roorkee zone and scored 339 marks out of 366. He scored 120 in Maths, 104 in Physics and 115 marks in Chemistry and got 55th rank in JEE Main entrance examination. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras had earlier today at 10 a.m. declared the results for Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2017. Akshat Chugh from Pune, Maharashtra stands second. Debaditya Pramanik, who is from Kolkata is the top student from the east. By clearing JEE Advanced students, can secure admission to any of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the link mentioned below ‘Result of JEE (ADV) 2017’

Step 3: Enter JEE Advanced Application Number

Step 4: Enter your Date of Birth and Submit

Step 5: Check your scores and rank in the exam

Step 6: Download the admit card and take a print out of the same for future
