The minimum passing criteria has been brought down to match all other Boards in the country. The pass marks for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 exams has been dropped by two per cent from 35 per cent to 33 per cent. While the students of Indian School Certificate (ISC) who will give exams for class 12, will now have to score 35% instead of 40% to clear the examination. This change will come into effect from the academic term beginning in 2019. The newly proposed minimum pass marks would impact the students appearing in the ICSE & ISC March 2019 Boards Exams.

concerns about date sheet of ICSE 10th-2018. There is no a day off before the mathematics exam. This is creating panic and stress amongst the students. Many students have already lost hopes and confidence by looking at the time table. English paper -1 and Mathematics exams have been planned on consecutive days of 26th February and 27 the February.Generally Math is considered as the toughest exam of all by most of the students in inda.Even schools plan their time table to give a day off before the math Exam. its shocking to see the" poltical" format of date sheet.

Dear Sir, The date sheet of ICSE 10th is creating panic and stress amongst the Students.Students started weeping looking at the date that the mathematics exam has been planned to conduct. We are horrified to see that English-1 and Mathematics paper on the consecutive days of 26th Feb 18 and 27th Feb 2018. Any exam board in India either state ,central or even schools will plan to give a minimum of one day before Mathematics exam. The total no of chapters prescribed in the syllabus are around 20. By the time the student comes back home from the exam on 26th February 2.00 pm. is it possible for a student to at least revise the important formulae for each topic. so we request to have a change in the date sheet esp for math. thanks Parent
