GSEB SSC result 2017: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar (GSHSEB) has finally announced the results of Class 10th examination today at 8 AM. Students who have appeared for the exams can now check their results at GSEB’s official website – gseb.org and examresults.nic.in. Here students can check their scorecards and download it for future reference. The Gujarat board class 10 exams were held from March 15 to March 25, 2017 with first paper being of English or Gujarati.
Around 11,02,625 class 10 students have appeared for the examination including 142 prisoners in the state. Despite such huge number of applicants, the exams were conducted smoothly. Last year, around 5.5 lakh students appeared for the examination and as many as 8,284 students managed to get 99 percentile. The girls managed to surpass boys by scoring over 9 per cent. As per an Indian Express report, in 2016, a total of 67.06 per cent students appeared for the Class 10 examinations which were 5.5 per cent higher than the 2015 SSC exams.
Steps to check GSEB SSC result 2017:
Students eagerly waiting for the results can follow the steps written below to check their results:
Step 1: Log onto the official websites of GSEB – gseb.org and examresults.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link that says ‘class 10 results/ SSC results’
Step 3: Enter required details such as name, enrollment number, date of birth etc
Step 4: Download your results and take a print out for future reference
Note: You can also take a screenshot of your results but remember, only the original certificate will be considered valid for official purposes.
