CBSE 10th Result 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education has finally announced the Secondary School Certificate Examination/ Class 10 Board result. The students who appeared in the 2017 Class 10th examination can check their result on CBSE official websites – cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in and results.nic.in. Students can also check their result via SMS and Microsoft’s Bing search engine. Passing criteria remains same: At least 33 percent marks in all the five subjects is a must.

04:48 PM: CSBE has also initiated a process of post-results counselling for students. The post-result CBSE counselling started from May 28 and will continue till June 11 on a daily basis from 8 am to 10 pm on all days.

02: 15 PM: As per ANI report, here is CBSE Board Class 10th Region-wise pass percentage: Delhi- 78.09, Patna- 95.50, Allahabad- 98.23, Dehradun- 97.27, Ajmer- 93.30, Chennai- 99.62, Bhubaneswar- 92.15, Chandigarh- 94.34, Guwahati- 65.53.
02:05 PM: Delhi’s pass percentage falls by over 13 per cent, 78.09 as against last year’s 91.06 per cent, report PTI.
02:00 PM: As per a PTI report, Trivandrum region has highest pass percentage at 99.85, followed by Madras at 99.62 and Allahabad at 98.23 per cent.
01:50 PM: As per UttarPradesh.org 667 students of the RLB college in UP have secured over 90 per cent marks in CBSE Class 10th examination.
01:45 PM: Overall pass percentage dips by 5.26 and around 90.95 per cent students have clear the examination.
01:35 PM: The Overall pass percentage in CBSE Board Class 10th exam in 2017 is 90.95% ;overall pass percentage in 2016 was 96.21%, reported ANI.
01:28 PM: Speaking to Indian Express, a CBSE official in New Delhi said, “We will take 15 minutes more to announce all regions CBSE 10th result 2017 . Everything will be released by 2 pm.”
01:20 PM: Soon after the CBSE Class 10th results were declared, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar took to Twitter to congratulate the students. He wrote: “Congratulations to all students who have passed CBSE class X exams. My best wishes to them for their bright future. #CBSEResults2017.”

12: 45 PM: Know how to calculate CGPA- If the grade points for the five main subjects are:
Sub I: 9; Sub II: 7; Sub III: 8; Sub IV: 9; Sub V: 8
Step I: Add all the grade points
9+7+8+9+8 = 41
Step II: Divide the sum by 5
41/5 = 8.2
So, 8.2 is your CGPA.
12: 25 PM: The result will not be made available in the Board premises and candidates are advised not to visit Board’s office for collection of results.
12:15 PM: Here’s how to calculate percentage out of CGPA – To get the your overall percentage, you take your CGPA and multiply it by 9.5. As illustrated in the above example, your percentage would be 8.6 x 9.5, which is 81.7 per cent.

Step i: Visit the official of CBSE at cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in; ii: On the homepage click on the link that says, ‘CBSE class 10 results’; iii: Now enter all the required details; iv: Press Login; v: Once you enter the results page, check the details mentioned on the results; vi: Download your CBSE 10th result 2017 result and take a print out of the same for future.
11:53 PM: As off now, the official website of CBSE is facing some technical glitch.
11:40 PM: Microsoft users can check their results on Bing search engine too. On the search engine write- CBSE 10th result 2017, a small box will pop up. Now fill in the required information and voila, your result will appear on the screen.
11:35 AM: Candidates can download the free CBSE results app which is available on Google Play store. This will help them to view their results at the time when the official website slows down or even crashes due to the rush on the servers.
11:30 AM: Candidates waiting for class 10th CBSE results are suggested to fetch out their login details such as enrollment number, school number and centre number as the results are likely to be declared anytime soon.
11:20 AM: So far, the board has only generated the result link on its official website – cbseresults.nic.in. It is suggested that students should wait till the link is activated for checking the class 10th results.
11:10 AM: It is suggested that students should be patient while check their results as the CBSE official website might face some technical glitch due to heavy traffic.
10:56 AM: CBSE said that the results will be sent to schools on their respective email addresses registered with the board, the CBSE said. Students and parents were advised not to visit its office for knowing the results.
10:53 AM: Candidates can also check their result through using the SMS feature provided by CBSE: Results can be received directly on your phones by sending an SMS in the below mentioned format.

10: 45 AM: This year, nearly 16.67 lakh students appeared for CBSE 10th board examination and as per PTI, the schools will automatically get their entire results on email ids already registered with the Board.
10: 43 AM: The results were delayed not only due to the Assembly Elections in various states, but also because of the controversy surrounding the marks moderation policy. However, High Court has ordered the Board to stick to the marks moderation policy as it was too late to effect a change.
10:40 AM: However, the result will not be available in the Board and the public are advised not to visit CBSE office for collection of results.
10:30 AM: The news was confirmed by a CBSE official on Friday. “The results will be announced on June 3 at forenoon,” a senior CBSE official was quoted saying by PTI. The Board has already declared class 12 result on May 28.
