CBSE 12th Result 2017: The much awaited Central Board of Secondary Education class 12th board results are here and Raksha Gopal of Amity International School Noida has topped this year’s results with 99.6% marks. The board declared the results earlier today after delaying it for so long. Students who appeared for the examination can now check heir results at cbseresults.nic.in, in case cbse.nic.in does not work.
While Raksha Gopal topped with 99.6% marks, Bhumi Sawant De from DAV Chandigarh secured the second position with 99.4% and Aditya Jain from Bhawan Vidyalaya Chandigarh came third with 99.2%. The overall passing percentage is 82% as compared to the 83% of last year.
The board conducted the class 12th board examination from March 9 to April 29 this year. A total of 19,85,397 students registered for the Class 10th and 12th examination this year, including the 10,98,891 students who appeared for the class 12th examination. Among the registered students 4,60,026 girls and 6,38,865 boys took part in the class 12th examination. The class 10th examination results are likely to be announced on June 2, however their is no official confirmation from the board.
Candidates need to keep in mind that the website might experience technical glitches because of heavy traffic at the time when the results have been declared. The board has made arrangements for the students in cases like these, they can check their results at-
Steps to check CBSE Class 12th Results 2017:
To check their scores, students can follow the below mentioned steps and know their results-
Step 1: Visit the official website at results.nic.in/ cbseresults.nic.in/ cbse.nic.in
Step 2: Once on the main page of the website, click on th elik that says, ‘Senior School Certificate Examination Results – 2017’
Step 3: On the homepge, enter the required information, press enter
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Check the information mentioned on the results
Step 6: Take a print out of the same and keep for future use
