In his first speech in the Budget Session, he said the government was “ignoring” the farming community and favouring the industrialists and rich people, which was a “blunder” as the farmers will “harm” Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in future.
Later, when asked about the clarifications by Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh and Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, Gandhi said, “They gave replies but the truth is there cannot replies (on these issues).
