There will be no entry fee.
The contest is open to bona fide under-graduates, post-graduates and B-school students, who are readers of Indian Express Newspapers (Mumbai) Limited's newspapers, The Indian Express, The Financial Express or Loksatta.
The contest will commence from 29.02.08 to 15.03.08. Participants must analyse the Union Budget 2008 in 250 words, and send entries by e-mail to febudgetace@expressindia.com. Entries must be the original work of the Participant.
Each Participant must be entitled to submit one entry. Entries shall be submitted in English. Each Participant shall give his/her full name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and confirmation that entry submitted is his/her original work.
Late/ incomplete/ garbled answers/ unoriginal entries and/or which cannot be read for any reason, shall stand automatically disqualified. IENM shall not be responsible if for technical or other reasons, the entry is not received.
The entries will be shortlisted by Editorial Team and final selection will be done by representatives of Ernst & Young and The Financial Express editorial team. The winner will have an opportunity to a six-week internship with Ernst & Young. The winner may be profiled in The Financial Express and his/her entry published.
The decision of the Judge(s) shall be final and binding. No correspondence of whatsoever nature will be entertained by IENM in this regard.
IENM reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify, add to, or truncate the contest and/or rules relating thereto at anytime without notice.
No cash or compensation shall be paid or given in liu of the internship. The terms of internship shall be fixed by Ernst & Young.
New Delhi Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
The final selection will be subject to meeting basic HR requirements of Ernst & Young.
Cost of travel & accomodation to be borne by selected candidates.
The contest shall not be open to employees of Indian Express Newspapers (Mumbai) Limited.
