THE METHODOLOGY

Participating banks are categorized into Public Sector Banks, Old Private Sector Banks, New Private Sector Banks and Foreign Banks. Five different key parameters – Strength & Soundness, Growth, Profitability, Efficiency / Productivity & Credit Quality are identified on which these banks are evaluated.
The parameters mentioned above are further sub-divided into 6 weighted parameters each.
