In the last edition, we saw products like Maruti Ciaz, Celerio and S-Cross besides several facelifted and slightly modified versions of the existing vehicles, the number can go even higher this year.

Like every edition of the Indian Auto Expo, Maruti Suzuki India has huge plans this year as well. In the last edition, we saw products like Maruti Ciaz, Celerio and S-Cross besides several facelifted and slightly modified versions of the existing vehicles, the number can go even higher this year.

Now that the Auto Expo 2016 is just a month far, here's a list of new Maruti Suzuki cars that the company might showcase at the biennial event -

1. Maruti Suzuki Ignis  

Maruti Suzuki Ignis

First unveiled as Suzuki iM-4 concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Ignis was showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Set to make its India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Ignis-based crossover will be launched in the country during this year's festive season. To be manufactured locally in India with high level of localisation, the Suzuki Ignis will be exported to other markets as well. Direct rival to the Ignis will be Mahindra KUV100 which is all set to be launched on January 15. Being a mini crossover, it will be positioned below the upcoming Maruti Vitara Brezza - a sub-4 metre SUV from the company.

2. Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza aka YBA  

Maruti Suzuki Vitara BrezzaThe Vitara Brezza will be the first ever sub-compact SUV from Maruti Suzuki India, which will take on the the likes of Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300. While the global Vitara model is above 4-metres in length, the company has been testing a mini SUV here that is a special made-in-India and made-for-India product. However, the company might also bring in the bigger version of the car at a later stage to rival Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster.

3. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 7-Seater  

Maruti WagonRThe tall boy hatch - WagonR - has been a runaway hit for the Maruti Suzuki India ever since its launch. Now the company is planning to introduce a 7-seater version of the car that will attract buyers looking for an affordable family car. Based on the WagonR hatchback's platform, the vehicle might get the Swift's 1.2-litre K-series petrol and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engines. The vehicle will most likely make its India debut at this year's Expo.

4. Maruti Alto 800 facelift & diesel  

Maruti Alto 800Maruti Suzuki India that launched the Celerio  with its all-new 793cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine in 2014, is now planning to introduce the same engine with the Alto 800. Besides the new diesel engine, the Alto 800 will also receive its first proper facelift ever since its launch in 2012. Upon its launch, the Alto 800 diesel will become the country's most fuel-efficient car.

5. Maruti Baleno Boosterjet petrol version  

Maruti Suzuki BalenoBuoyed by the success of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in the Indian market, the Indo-Japanese carmaker is now contemplating a more powerful version of the premium hatch to lure buyers looking for a fun-to-drive car at an attractive price tag. Expected to debut at the 2016 Auto Expo, the more powerful Baleno will feature a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, Boosterjet petrol unit that is good for an impressive 112bhp and 175Nm.

    Hlo I'm a Maruti Suzuki India prize win of car designing... I'll like this page to publish more information about Maruti Suzuki pvt.ltd. because it is lacking some cars like baleno RS and S-cross (SX4)
