Nissan Motor India will launch its flagship model, Nissan GT-R on 2nd December 2016. The company has already started accepting the booking of GT-R at an amount of Rs 25 lakh. Nissan showcased the sports car earlier this year at the 2016 Auto Expo. The car is powered by a 3.2 L,V6, 24 valve twin turbo-charged turbo engine that produces 562 hp of power and 637 of torque and is mated to a 6 -speed dual clutch transmission.According to company claims, the car can acclerate from 0-100kmph in 3 seconds. Stopping duties are taken care by 390mm discs with six piston calipers at the front and 380mm discs with four piston calipers at the rear.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R is loaded with features such as active noise cancellation, active sound enhancemnet, which works in conjunction with the engine speed and vehicle dynamics. The car gets an 8 inch infotainment screen and a Bose audio system with 11 speakers. The company has equiped the sports car with safety features such as auto on/off headlamps, 6-air bags, vehicle dynamic control, traction control, ABS with Electronic Brake Force and tyre pressure monitoring.
It is expected that Nissan GT-R will be launched at a price of Rs 2.25 crore. The Nissan GT-R will compete with the Porsche 911 and Ferrari 458 Italia as far as performance is concerned..
