Powering the new Access is a 125cc engine that is benefited with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology.
The new Suzuki Access 125 that was unveiled at Delhi Auto Expo, has been confirmed to launch on March 15, 2016. Initially, the company will sell the new Access alongside the old model, and discontinue the latter one gradually. The new Suzuki Access 125 received significant cosmetic updates and additional features along with a more powerful and fuel efficient engine. Upon launch, the new Access will take on the Honda Activa 125 that has been dominating the 125cc scooter market space from the day one. The scooter’s new model, with new graphics and more efficient powertrain, will aim to lure young buyers.
Powering the new Access is a 125cc engine that is benefited with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. This power mill is capable of producing power worth 8.58bhp at 7,000rpm against a peak torque of 9.8Nm at 5,000rpm. Transmission duties are taken care of by the same CVT gearbox. Based on an all-new platform, the new Suzuki Access 125 will be lighter than the current model. The scooter looks slightly sportier than before. It gets a new pair of alloy wheels, single push starter, optional DC socket and telescopic front forks. There is a digital instrument cluster with a display screen.
The scooter will continue to derive its braking power from the 120mm drum brakes. Dimensions, however, will remain unchanged. The new Suzuki Access 125 will also come with new colour schemes. Just so you know, the scooter, currently, is available in 5 colour options - Glass Sparkle Black (YVB), Pearl Mirage White (YPA), Candy Antares Red (19A), Metallic Sonic Silver (YD8) and Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey (PGZ).
