Like 2015, carmakers have plans to launch several all-new products this year as well to maintain the momentum.
The Indian passenger vehicle segment ended 2015 on a happy note, as it closed the calendar year at around 6 per cent growth rate. While low fuel costs and major investment announcements in infrastructure sector were among the major factors that helped achieve this growth, the role of some big ticket launches like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Renault Kwid, etc cannot be denied.
Like 2015, carmakers have plans to launch several all-new products this year as well to maintain the momentum. Here's a list of three cars that will launched in the first month of 2016

Third all-new product under Tata Motors' HORIZONEXT umbrella, the Zica will be the company's entry-level hatchback that will take on the likes of Maruti Celerio, Ford Figo and others in the league. Similar to the Zest and the Bolt, the Tata Zica too has been designed by the home-grown carmakers's three design studios - Pune, Turin, Coventry. Having said that, it shares a very little design elements with its other two siblings and looks a lot sportier than both. The new hatchback from Tata Motors will get two all-new naturally-aspirated three-cylinder powertrains - a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol (84bhp, 115Nm) and a 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel (69bhp, 140Nm).
Expected launch - Third or fourth week of January
