Volvo Auto India has introduced the V90 Cross Country, a crossover in India today at a price tag of Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom. According to the Swedish carmaker, the Volvo V90 Cross Country plugs the gap between the S90 sedan and the XC90. So, who is it worth and why should on buy it considering that it has basically no competitors in the country? Let's find out
With the exception of the GLE it's important to note that most cars in this gallery list prices almost 5 lakh less than the V90, but very few can boast as much trim or features which the 90 gets from its elder sibling the XC90.

The cheapest of the four the X3 retails at between Rs 47-53 lakh. While it strikes a unique bargain for its dimensions, it loses out in terms of safety and daily usability to the Volvo.
The Volvo is the most unique proposition in terms of a crossover. Volvo claim that while the handling retains characteristic of a sedan, it has all the utilities of an SUV. The Volvo has a lot of kit from the XC90 and that means it’s still a steal for it’s Rs. 60 lakh retail price
