Audi India has added another SUV from their Q family to the captain of the Indian national cricket team Virat Kohli. The keys of the 2017 Q7 45 TDI were handed to Kohli by Rahil Ansari, Head, Audi India. "The Audi brand attributes are sporty, progressive and sophisticated and Virat Kohli embodies all these attributes perfectly," Ansari said.
Kohli's new Q7 is in Carerra White colour. It is quite a very well known fact that the current Indian cricket team captain is a Audi afficianado. His collection already has five Audi cars, including the previous Q7.
"I have been a very loyal customer of Audi for some time now as the brand not only offers great products but also exudes youthful energy. I believe that I get a complete package when it comes to Audi cars and that’s exactly why I went for the Audi Q7," Kohli said upon receiving keys to the new Q7.
Virat Kohli has had the R8 LMX, R8 V10 Plus, A8 W12 Quattro, S6 and the Q74.2 TDI in his garage, along with a Toyota Fortuner and a Renault Duster. Also read: Virat Kohli’s car collection: Take a look at his Audi R8, A8, Q7 and others
The current-generation Q7 is powered by a 3-litre TDI diesel engine that churns out a maximum of 245 bhp and develops a peak torque of 600 Nm from as low as 1500 rpm. The new Q7 has been equipped with a list of new features like Matrix LED headlamps, new single frame grille, LED tail lamps and the 20-inch alloy wheels. It also gets a MMI infotainment system navigated via MMI Touch, the Audi sound system, music interface with two USB ports and a Bluetooth interface. It has also been given a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit screen as well.
