Royal Enfield has recently launched its first ever Garage cafe in Goa. The well spread facility comprises of a restaurant, exhibition area, reading verandah and a retail store that is responsible for selling Royal Enfield bikes, apparel and accessories. The company has opened its Garage cafe after almost 2 years when the concept taken into consideration for the first time. Right now, the cafe is open from 9 AM to 1 PM and then from 7 PM to midnight. The company says that no matter you are a biker or not, this cafe is open for all.
The new Garage cafe by Royal Enfield has multiple custom bikes on display that have been done by various customisers across India. Out of these, one bike gets a hand painted job by a female during Rider Mania event in a matter of 3 days. Also, there is a bike that represents the hippie culture and how they used to customise things as per their own style.
The cafe area looks like any other restaurant and has ample of space to accommodate a good number of people. The cafe extends to the first floor where one portion has been designed on the lines of a reader’s room. There is also a closed area nearby where you get a laid back and relaxed environment.
The new Royal Enfield Garage cafe has an exhibition area and one of its prime highlights is the 1:3 scale model of a Classic 500. The motorcycle has been made in around 2 years and it has moving parts just like a real Royal Enfield motorcycle. The attention to detail is phenomenal and it actually looks like a real motorcycle that has been just scaled down without compromising on anything.
The wall art of the new Royal Enfield Garage Cafe is also unique in its own way. In contrary to what most of you might think, every tile on this wall has been painted individually as per the company. After that, these were baked in order to set the paint properly and last, all tiles were assembled on the wall.
The retail store of the Royal Enfield Garage Cafe gets a good range of apparel starting from T-shirts to gloves and riding boots. You will also find motorcycle related attire here which looked quite decent in terms of the quality and finish. Add ons include accessories which you can buy not just for your bike but for yourself.
The reading room of the Royal Enfield Garage Cafe has this uniquely designed wall that has been done by a street artist from Mumbai. The place is designed on the theme of a reader's room and you will find multiple books glued on the wall. What's more interesting is the presentation of a Royal Enfield motorcycle through these open books.
The new Royal Enfield Garage Cafe gets a customisation bay and this has been made to support the customisers who fall short of resources. The company says that the said area has all the required tools and bits that are needed to customise a motorcycle. The company supports such talent time to time and this customisation bay is one step forward towards the same.
