To make the most of the upcoming festive season, Indian arm of the French car maker Renault has launched the new Renualt Duster Sandstrom edition. The special variant is being offered in two trims – RXS Diesel 85 PS Sandstorm edition priced at Rs 10,90,400 (ex-Delhi) and RXS Diesel 110 PS Sandstorm edition that’s priced at Rs 11,70,400 (ex-Delhi). The Renault Duster Sandstorm comes with 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmission and is available only in a 2-wheel drive (2WD) option. While mechanically the SUV gets the major changes, it is the exteriors that has been reworked to make the car look fresh. Renault has added nine new enhancements on the Duster. The SUV gets a new matt black finish front bumper with Duster branding lamps, similar to what it introduced in the Duster Adventure edition launched during last two festive seasons. It further gets Sandstorm decals on the hood, doors, tailgate and ORVMs. Renault Duster Sandstrom edition gets new Zodiac 16 inch alloys. The interiors of the SUV blends with the interior design and is finished in black & grey, centre fascia with dark chrome finish, shiny black door trim decorative strip & grab handle and door handle in black colour.
Additionally it now features seat covers and floor mat set with ‘Sandstorm’ branding and continuous to get 7-inch touch screen and dual air bags. Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition is available in 3 colour options - Outback bronze, Moonlight Silver and Slate Grey.

Renault Duster Sandstorm Edition is powered by the same tried and tested K9K 1.5 dCi (Common Rail Direct Injection) engine that churn an output of 110 PS and 85 PS. The powerful 110 PS version is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and claims a mileage of 20 kmpl.
Bookings for the New Duster Sandstorm can be made either at the dealerships or through the Renault Duster App, which is currently available for download for android phones. Renault India is also gearing up for its next big product launch with the new Captur. The new SUV is expected to be launched next month and is likely to be positioned above the Renault Duster.
