Renault Duster RxS variant launched with touch screen and dual air bags

Renault Duster is available with a 1.6 litre K4M petrol engine and a 1.5 dCi engine in two states of tune - 85 hp and 110 hp

Renault has given new updates to its Duster RxS variant without any increase in price. The new features include a 7 inch touch screen infotainment system compatible with a Bluetooth, USB and Aux-In connectivity along with Smartphone Voice Recognition (iOS only). In addition, the RxS variant also gets dual airbags and gun metal finish alloy wheels. Since the company has not increased the prices of RxS variant, it is available at an unchanged price at Rs 12.94 lakh, on road, Delhi.

The Duster RxS variant is powered by a 1.5 dCi engine that churns out 85 hp of power and 200Nm of torque and is mated to a five speed manual transmission. The SUV gets LED tail lamps,fog lamps, body coloured outside door handles and roof rails at the exterior. In terms of safety, the RxS variant features Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), rear defogger and rapid deceleration warning.

Renault India is also planning to introduce the Duster with 1.6 litre H4K petrol engine with CVT transmission. It is expected that the company might launch the SUV soon and will be offered in the RxL and RxZ variants.
