Need for Speed has long established its name as 'the' racing game the world over. If you are a racing game fan, you will have played most or all of its series. The latest one is about to be released this year, and the trailer does promise a lot of speed, stunts and action. The NFS Payback will be a “action driving fantasy” showcased as a story form different perspectives, according to Electronic Arts.

The Need for Speed Payback is slated for launch on 10th November this year for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. If you happen to pre-order it, you will receive the Platinum Car Pack, that will give you access to five cars that can given an upgrade called Platinum Blue Tire Smoke. The cars in question are - 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, 2008 Nissan 350Z, 2016 Ford F-150 Raptor and 2016 Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport.

The new game will involve the player to drive as three different characters - Tyler, the Racer; Mac, the Showman and Jess, the Wheelman. The three team up to take revenge from 'The House', a cartel that runs criminal activities in the fictional city, Fortune Valley.

Seems EA Games has taken a leaf out of the Fast & Furious' book and promises “intense heist missions, high stakes car battles, epic cop pursuits and jaw dropping set pieces”.

The game will also have a single player option available offline, and will also offer an open world and car customisation, which has been a very well appreciated feature of the NFS series.

Like the other games in the franchise, the NFS Playback will be available for Play First Trial to EA Access and Origin Access subscribers, who will be able to try out the the game for up to 10 hours starting 2nd November. Also, those who purchase the Deluxe Edition for $79.99 will get three days of early access starting 7th November.

The trailer features the Ford Mustang BC, Nissan 350Z and the Pagani Huayra BC, a lot of crashing police cars and drifting American muscle. We think the new installment of the NFS is definitely worth waiting for.
