As we reported earlier, Honda has been testing the new Jazz in Brazil and the car will soon get cosmetic changes at the exterior and interior. Now, more images of the facelifted Jazz have been leaked on the internet by Livedoor Blog. It is expected that Honda might launch the new Jazz in Japan in June 2017. The new images show that the new Honda Jazz will get a redesigned bumper and a new headlamp cluster with fog lamps at the front. At the rear, the facelifted Jazz gets a new bumper and a new tail light cluster. It is also expected that new Jazz might get rear diffuser in some variants.

The India bound Jazz will feature the same powertrain as in the existing Jazz, a 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol unit that produces 88 hp of power at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm and is paired to a 5-speed manual and a CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) gearbox. The diesel variants will be powered by the 1.5 litre i-DTEC unit with 98 hp and 200 Nm of torque and will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. As of now, there are no images of the new Jazz interiors but it is expected that it will get an updated touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, MirrorLink and new instrument panel, similar to the one seen on the new WR-V.

It is expected that Honda Cars India will launch facelifted Jazz by end of this year and it will be priced slightly higher than the current generation Jazz. When launched, the new Jazz will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the Hyundai i20 in its segment.
