Come 26th the SLK range in the country. The twoseater convertible car is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 1 crore and will be sold as a CBU (completelybuilt unit). While we'll keep you updated on the vehicle's pricing and other details closer to the launch, here's what one should expect from the AMG SLC 43.
The AMG SLC 43. although a new vehicle, resembles the styling seen on the SLK range. The interior too has been redesigned and multiple new comfort and convenience features make their way into the cabin. That said, the main reason why anyone would buy an AMG is performance and the SLC 43 has a lot going for it in this area.
The car will be powered by a 3.0 L sixsylinder turbocharged engine, developing 362 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Channeling power to the rear wheels is the 9GTronic automatic transmission. The company claims a 0100 km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The driver also gets access to five driving modes – economy, comfort, sport, sport + and individual.
Once launched, the AMG SLC 43 will be the 10th AMG model to go on sale in India, reflecting the focus of MercedesBenz India to increase its share in the premium performance vehicle segment.
