Maruti Suzuki seems to inching closer to achieving more of a premium car manufacturer's reputation, While Nexa was to be the brand's outlet for premium cars, including the Ignis and Ciaz. The brand has come up with Maruti Suzuki Arena, a new line of showrooms that will allow customers to book Maruti Suzuki vehicles or even personalise their cars as per their liking. The Maruti Suzuki Arena will have a modern look and will offer a friendly and comfortable environment to the customers. The company will now have four retail channels, namely; Maruti Suzuki Arena, Nexa, Commercial and True Value that will look after all the needs of the customers.
As a fact, about 75 percent people research online before purchasing a vehicle. Maruti Suzuki customers can now register online by entering their phone number and existing customers can keep track of their car's maintenance through the Maruti Suzuki Arena website and can also avail benefits by visiting the showroom. The standees at the Arena showrooms will not only be digital but also interactive. Customers will be able to view the entire Maruti product portfolio, check specs, colour options and various other such details. Other services include test drives, model selection and accessories.
These showrooms will have several electronic pads where the customers can register and find other information. The Maruti Suzuki i Create platform will also be available at Arena showrooms, which allow easy customisation of customer cars. The i Create is a customisation platform so far available only for the Vitara Brezza and the Swift. Under this, the customers get numerous personalisation options available for interiors and exteriors.
Maruti plans to expand their Arena showrooms to a total 2050 across the country within the next three-five years and has started to lease out land to existing Maruti dealers. The process is underway and 100 showrooms will be set up this year.
