Isuzu is all set to launch its new SUV, the MU-X today, marking its entry into the premium SUV space. The MU-X is based on the same platform that underpins the D-Max V-Cross and many components too will be shared between the two vehicles to save cost. The MU-X will be offered only with a 3.0 litre turbocharged engine with a power output of 174 hp and 380 Nm of torque between 1,800 to 2,800 rpm.
The vehicle will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. The SUV will be launched in a short while today and we'll bring live updates to you from the launch right up to the price announcement so stay tuned into this space.
