Security personnel present at the plant who caught the big cat on camera at 4 am were quick to call in authorities. Luckily, being in the middle of the night, there were no workers at the plant. Authorities that included cops and officials, rushed to the factory to rescue the animal. The leopard, which has brought all proceedings at the plant to a standstill, was last spotted having a browse around the factories engine room. Officials are using the CCTV set-up to track the animal's location inside the factory, although there is yet to be a concrete confirmation from authorities.

Morning shift at the factory has been scrapped and staff members have been asked not to enter the complex. Around 2,000 workers have gathered at the location outside the complex but were greeted by a shut gate.

"Police rushed to the spot as soon as we received the information. The premises were immediately evacuated and we have sealed the area. The rescue operation is on and over 100 cops have been deployed at the spot," said Ashok Bakshi, DCP (South).

Ask Maruti Udyog to offer a job. It needs only shelter and food. Will not act greedy as humans.
