Hyundai launched the Creta in 2015 and since then the SUV has witnessed runaway success as the company has constantly faced problems meeting the high demand. Although, the Creta is still selling strongly, Hyundai has gone ahead and updated the vehicle with some new features that once again put it ahead of the competition. The Creta has received updates in the areas of interiors and exterior colours options. The brochure of the Creta with new updated features has been revealed on the Facebook page of The Hyundai Creta Group. According to the brochure, the SUV gets a dual colour exterior on the SX Plus variant- Polar White and Red Passion with Phantom Black roof colour. The dual paint exterior colour is only available with manual gearbox. The interiors the SX Plus also receives the all black interiors with red and black seat upholstery.
In a series of updates, the Creta variants S Plus, SX Plus, SX Plus Dual Tone & SX(O) gets features such as 7 inch touch screen infotainment system with AVN and is now compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirrorlink and Arkamys Sound Mood, the last one helping improve sound quality. In addition, the Creta E-Plus grade is now available with the 1.4 CRDi engine with manual transmission, while the E variant is available only with a 1.6 petrol Dual VTVT engine.
Hyundai Creta is offered with two engine options, a 1.6 litre diesel and petrol engine and 1.4 litre petrol unit. The 1.6 litre petrol engine produces 121 hp of power and 151 Nm of torque, while the 1.4 litre diesel engine delivers 88 hp of power and 219 Nm of torque. The 1.6 litre diesel engine produces 126 hp of power and 260 Nm of torque.
Currently, Hyundai Creta is sold at a price of Rs 9.22 lakh for E variant, while the top end variant SX(O) is available at a price of Rs 14.57 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The prices of the Creta with new features and with dual paint exterior colours have not been announced yet but it is expected that they will command a slightly higher price tag.
