Online ticketing for Auto Expo 2018 has begun exclusively at Bookmyshow. Asia's largest motoring show will be open for the public from 9th to 14th February 2018. The biennial event is hosted by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) in association with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The tickets for Auto Expo 2018 have been priced between Rs 350 and Rs 750. If you wish to visit the show during business hours from 10 AM to 1 PM on weekdays, you will have to pay Rs 750. On the other hand, the Rs 350 ticket can be used during public hours between 1 PM and 6 PM. Weekends will not have any business hours and the price of the ticket for these days is Rs 475 that will be valid from 10 AM to 7 PM.
Due to increasing number of visitors with every edition, the organisers decided to extend the motor show an additional day this time. The ticket price for the last day has been kept Rs 450. There is also a free home delivery facility for tickets if you book three or more. Deliveries for the same will start on 8th January 2017.
Commenting on the online ticket commencement of Auto Expo 2018, Sugato Sen, Deputy Director General, SIAM said, “We are pleased to begin the booking of online entry ticket way in advance for the convenience of public, and have also introduced free home delivery of tickets, keeping in mind the convenience for the visitors. In this edition, we have moved away from just the static displays of automobiles to a more dynamic showcase of total mobility solutions. There will be multiple zones for different activities keeping in tune with the theme of the expo - 'co-create, co-exist and celebrate', and will be more focused towards new technologies and innovation in the auto industry”.
