Earlier this year, Kawasaki launched the BS4 versions of Z250 and Z650 in India. Now new images of both the motorcycles have emerged from a dealership in Mumbai, reported by Motorbeam. The new pictures suggest that the Z250 gets green colour paint scheme and golden painted alloy wheels. The Z250 is powered by a powered by a 249 cc, liquid cooled, four-stroke, parallel-twin BS4 engine that produces 32 hp of power and 21 Nm of peak torque mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Dimensionally, the 2017 Z250 measures 2,010 mm in length, 750 mm in width, 1,025 mm in height, has 1,400 mm of wheelbase and a ground clearance of 145 mm. The Z250 gets a 37 mm telescopic fork in the front and a gas charged monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 290 mm disc up front and 220 mm disc at rear, however, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) has been missing. The motorcycle gets a 17-litre fuel tank and has a kerb weight of 168 kg. The motorcycle is available at price tag of Rs 3.09 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
In addition, the images of the 2017 Kawasaki Z650 suggest that it gets a new white colour scheme. The Z650 replaces the ER-6n in the lineup and is powered by the Ninja's 650cc engine. The motorcycle gets a trellis frame, which makes it lighter by 6kg and now weights 187kg. The Z650 is equipped with a dual semi-floating 300mm petal disc at the front and a single 220mm petal at the rear with ABS.
