TVS is all set to launch its flagship product Apache RR 310 in India on the coming December 6 and the news has already got a lot of enthusiasts highly excited. The Hosur-based manufacturer though has more good news in store as it will have one more premium offering after the Akula. The company has been testing its Graphite based scooter for quite sometime now and the same has been captured in an interesting video recently. In the footage, the scooter can be seen in a neck-to-neck fight with the Aprilia SR 150 on the highway. If some reports are to be believed, this upcoming scooter will be equipped with a 150cc engine and will take its design cues from the Graphite concept that was put on display at the 2014 Auto Expo. In the video that was shot by an Aprilia SR 150 rider, the said TVS scooter can be seen zooming past the former and following this, the SR 150 rider accelerates his scooter to get a closer look of the TVS offering and overtakes him. Since the scooter is heavily camouflaged, not much design details could be revealed. After some time, the Aprilia rider gives up the chase in order to capture the scooter properly in his camera.

It can be clearly seen that the design of this TVS scooter is not similar to any of the existing ones in the company's product portfolio. The scooter gets telescopic forks upfront and in some earlier images, a disc brake was also visible that is expected to come as an option. Talking of powertrain, there have been reports that the company will equip an all-new 150cc engine to this scooter but nothing concrete can be said at the moment. Chances of a 125cc mill are also healthy.

The production-spec TVS Graphite will reportedly be launched in India during the first quarter of next year. The scooter will primarily challenge the likes of Aprilia SR 150 along with the recently launched Honda Grazia. Expect the scooter to be launched at a price of close to Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom) in the Indian two-wheeler market.
