Suzuki Motorcycle launches Hayate EP and Let’s with BSIV compliant engines

With this, the manufacturer has updated its product line up in accordance to the new emission norms.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the commuter motorcycle Hayate EP and the scooter Let’s with engines compliant to the latest BSIV norms. With this, the manufacturer has updated its product line up in accordance to the new emission norms. The BSIV Hayate is available at a price of Rs 52,754, while newly launched Let’s is being offered starting at Rs 47,272, prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Hayate EP is powered by a 113cc, one cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.7 hp of power and 9.3 Nm of torque.For better fuel efficiency, the engine is equipped with a SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology, and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The commuter motorcycle features alloy wheels, tubeless tyres and a diamond frame. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic fork at the front and a dual 5-step adjustable at rear.

Suzuki Lets's

Another product from Suzuki Motorcycle stable  upgraded to BS4 norms is the Let's. The scooter is powered by 112.8cc 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, 2 valve engine that delivers 8 hp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to CVT transmission. The scooter gets features such as underseat storage with mobile charging option, dual colour console and dual tone graphics.

In February 2017, the company sold 40,175 units in total sales and launched BSIV Access 125 and Gixxer range with new colours.
